The UK men's basketball season officially starts today... THE WAIT IS OVER.

No more, last year they lost 10 games...
No more, there was no chemistry...
No more...
No more...

Before the season starts, and after you've seen them play a couple of exhibition games. I'm curious where you think the Cats will end up this season. Give me a prediction of their W-L, where they'll finish in the SEC tournament, and where they'll finish in the NCAA tournament.

As far as Miami of OH goes, how do you think they'll do tonight?

Their tallest starter is 6-9, but they have some bruisers that are 200+ lbs.

The starting lineup is looking to be:
Morris
Stevenson
Perry
Crawford
Bradley

By the way, I know it's getting way overblown by the media, but do you think what Bobby Knight did was wrong?

22-8 not counting the SEC Tournament, losses coming from Florida at home and away, at Tennessee, at North Carolina, at Georgia, at Arkansas, at Alabama, and LSU at home.

If the freshmen make a great impact and they deepen the bench, I could see us beating Arkansas and maybe LSU at home.

As far as the issue with Bobby Knight, there wouldn't be a problem if this were any other coach, unless it was John Chaney or a drunk Larry Eustachy. I don't think I would react as he did, but that is his passion for his job coming out on the sideline.

Yeah, I have way more respect for Bobby Knight and his coaching than Dean Smith. Maybe it has something to do with that sickening Tar Heel blue.

Definitely, I think if they lose in the Maui, it will be in the finals, but I figured UCLA would be their biggest competition (who they would meet in the semis). Possibly Oklahoma or Georgia Tech could give it to us if they make it to the finals.

For them to make it to the semis in the SEC Tourney, it would be great. I think the SEC is stacked this year as far as talent. I see no less than 6 teams from the SEC going to the Big Dance this year.f
